• Developed a system for large strain measurement using image analysis.

• Conducted lectures at undergraduate and post graduate levels. The subject areas developed to conduct lectures at post graduate level are Structural Dynamics and Control, Earthquake Engineering. At the undergraduate level, mechanics of materials, structural analysis, structural dynamics and control, reinforced concrete design, masonry design.

• A member of staff team responsible for conducting Comprehensive Design Projects for fourth year students of B.Sc. Engineering undergraduate programme.

• Experience in research: Development and publishing in the areas of behaviour high damping rubber, behaviour of seismic isolation rubber bearing, large strain measurements, passive solar techniques for tropical climates, bridge management and design, earthquake resistance designs, seismic assessment of structures and use of Fiber reinforced polymers (FRP) for structural strengthening, etc.
