Contribution to Research

I have been involved in research work since 1991 and from 2001 onwards I have been working on a regional programme called Asian Regional Research Programme on Environmental Technology Development with the SIDA funding. This programme helps to develop technology for the management of hazardous material containing heavy metals and it has already been applied to one galvanizing industry. The idea of this technology development would be to popularise among industrialists so that the environmental pollution could be lessened.

Following is the list of peer-reviewed publications published in both international and local journals and conferences.

Papers Presented at Workshops

  • Noise pollution from vehicular traffic, 2003. Annual Session of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport , Sri Lanka . Sausiripaya , Sri Lanka
